It has been 12 years since team India lifted ICC World Cup trophy on home soil in 2011. Now world’s biggest cricket tournament is will be again hosted by India. Back in 2011, 23 years old Virat Kohli was a part of World Cup Winning team. Now, 34 years old Kohli is the lone member from the old squad which defeated Sri Lanka in final played at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

While Virat Kohli has struggled with his form and there has been a lot of discussion around it. West Indies veteran player, Chris Gayle feels that 2023 World Cup will not be the last one for Virat Kohli.
In interview with Times of India, “Virat Kohli still has another World Cup in him. I don’t think this is going to be his last World Cup”.

He also said, “India are favourites, they play at home as well. So, it’s going to be very interesting. We want to see the team they’re actually going to select. First of all the squad, they’re going to select because a lot of people are knocking on the door as well. India are always going to be a favorite at home as well. So, that’s something that carries the pressure over to the Indian team as well”.
India’s will start their World Cup journey with first match against Australia on October 8 in Chennai.
