Here is the trailer for Shahid Kapoor’s upcoming movie, Bloody Daddy. Shahid plays an action hero in the thriller directed by Tiger Zinda Hai’s Ali Abbas Zafar, taking out several thugs in a hotel over one night. The trailer, which features numerous jaw-dropping action scenes, also features Ronit Roy, Sanjay Kapoor, and Diana Penty.

Action pack sequences

Shahid enters the frame in a black suit at the start of the caravan in a hotel’s pitch-black hallway. Then he says, “Ye meri us raat ki kahaani he when everything became f–ked up (This is the tale of the evening when everything got genuinely f–ked up)” in his narration.

The focus then shifts to 12 hours prior, when Ronit Roy calls Shahid’s character and requests that he bring back his bag of cocaine without overcomplicating the situation. As Shahid enters a hotel to locate the bag and retrieve it again, the action moves to the present.

After a brief pause, the action resumes when Shahid gives the back to Ronit Roy, who gives it to Sanjay Kapoor’s character, the boss. He is horrified to discover that the bag is filled with wheat flour when he opens it. When Shahid realizes he has been duped, the trailer switches to action mode, showing him battling criminals left and right as the lone survivor.

The trailer accelerates to demonstrate how ‘lots and lots of blood’ are used in the action. You might be reminded of Priyanka Chopra’s action scene in the recently released Citadel by a shot in a kitchen.

The 2011 French film Nuit Blanche will be officially remade as Bloody Daddy.

Shahid’s statement about the movie

Shahid had mentioned his enjoyment of action scenes in the movie to the news agency during a discussion about it. “I had a great time. I had a great time making an action movie, and I loved working with Ali. He is very knowledgeable about the genre. The current conundrum is how to handle a large-scale production on a big screen if it’s being done on OTT. It’s been a blast, but we need to figure that out,” the actor said.

Release Date and Platform

From June 9, Jio Cinemas will offer the movie in direct digital release.
