Early this year, director-producer Karan Johar finished filming his upcoming film, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh play the main characters in the family drama. The first image from Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani was released on Thursday by the cast and producers. After helming Ae Dil Hai Mushkil in 2016, which starred Anushka Sharma and Ranbir Kapoor, Karan is directing his first movie. On Thursday, Karan Johar turned 51 as well.

Rocky’s ripped appearance on Ranveer

“A definitive ‘heartthrob’ who takes his own heart up his sleeve’ – meet Rocky,” Karan Johar stated on Instagram. On July 28, 2023, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani will debut in theatres.

Ranveer appeared in the poster sporting trendy sunglasses and a gold chain around his neck. Along with exposing his almost bare chest, he also displayed his ripped body while sporting an animal print shirt and a silly expression. Ranveer Singh appeared in another poster wearing a leather jacket with studs.

In the first look posters for her in the Rockey Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani character, Alia Bhatt wore a large nose ring, black bindi, and kohl-rimmed eyes. “Attention: ladies and gentlemen, the empress is here to seize your souls – meet Rani,” Karan wrote alongside her Instagram posts.

The clip also featured many clips from Karan’s films over the years, including his 1998 debut Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, My Name Is Khan (2010), Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham (2001), and 2016 film Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.
