2023 CBSE Class 12th Results (Released): Over 14 lakh students pass, with Trivandrum having the best performance

2023 CBSE Board 12th Result Announced: The official websites cbse.nic.in, cbseresults.nic.in, cbseresults.gov.in, and cbse.gov.in allow students to check their results by entering their name and roll number. 1660511 of the 16,80256 applicants who registered for the exam showed up. The CBSE Class 12 exams were passed by 1450174 of these candidates.

Class 12 CBSE Board Result 2023 Announced

The Class 12 results were made public by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) today. Students can check their results by entering their name and roll number at the official websites cbse.gov.in, results.nic.in, results.digilocker.gov.in, and umang.gov.in.

87.33% of students passed the Examination

The overall pass rate for Class 12 this year is 87.33 percent, which is down from the performance of last year (-5.38), but up from the years before the pandemic, according to CBSE. The overall pass rate in 2022 was 92.71 percent, up from 88.78 percent in 2020 and 83.40 percent in 2019.

A total of 1660511 out of the 16,80256 applicants showed up for the test. The CBSE Class 12 exams were passed by 1450174 of these candidates.

Trivandrum once again tops the list with a 99.91% result

Trivandrum has once again been named the best district with a score of 99.91 percent, followed by Bengaluru (98.64%) and Chennai (97.40%). Fourth place with 93.24% belongs to Delhi West.

CBSE will not release a merit list

The CBSE will not release a merit list this year, as it does every year, but 0.1% of students who received the highest marks in each subject will be awarded a merit certificate. Around 1,12,838 students scored higher than 90%, with 22,622 scoring higher than 95%. 1,25,705 applicants were allocated to the compartment.

Exams for the CBSE class 12

Exams for the CBSE class 12 were administered starting at 10:30 am from February 15 through April 5. While some tests had a two-hour duration and ended at 12:30 pm, the majority of exams were three hours long and finished at 1:30 pm. For the class 12 exams, approximately 16,96,770 students showed up.

The compartment examination, which will be held in July 2023, will allow CBSE students who failed any subject to raise their grades. The exam dates will soon be announced on CBSE websites, and students who want to improve their grades can take it.
