Raghav Chadha received a charge of repeatedly engaging in “gross wrongdoing and misconduct” by Union minister Piyush Goyal.

Raghav Chadha’s statement

In response to his suspension, Chadha stated: “The BJP’s harsh idea to youngsters today is this: If you risk raising inquiries, we will silence your opinion. In my remarks on the Delhi Services Bill in Parliament, I raised tricky issues that the BJP can’t address. For this, I got suspended.”

“My offense was calling out the BJP’s hypocrisy regarding Delhi’s statehood and urging them to adhere to the Advani-vaad and Vajpayee-vaad. “The reality that a 34-year-old MP grasped them liable and displayed them a mirror left them scarred,” he added.
