On Monday, the day after the state Congress passed a unanimous resolution allowing the party’s national president Mallikarjun Kharge to choose the CM, Siddaramaiah and DK Shivakumar—the two leading candidates for Karnataka’s next chief minister—are anticipated in New Delhi.

On May 18, all like-minded parties are invited to the chief minister’s swearing-in ceremony.

1. Former chief minister Siddaramaiah and Karnataka Congress president DK Shivakumar will meet with Mallikarjun Kharge on Shivakumar’s birthday, May 15.
