SAD Patriarch Parkash Singh Badal and Former Punjab CM Passes Away At 95
National leaders including Shri Rahul Gandhi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and various others took on to twitter to pay their homage to the veteran leader of Siromani Akali Dal from Punjab.
Parkash Singh Badal was suffering from illness and was admitted to Fortis hospital in Mohali. he complained about uneasiness in breathing.
The late leader’s son Sukhbir Singh Badal is currently SAD chief in Punjab and leads the party and its political operations in the state.

The 5 time former chief minister of Punjab was sick from last 1 year or so and was admitted in hospital last year as well. The central govt has announced 2 days of mourning in honor of late Shri Parkash Singh Badal.
Parkash Singh Badal unsuccessfully contested last year’s state assembly elections in the state. He became the chief minister of the state for the first time in the year 1970 -71.
