OYO Rooms Founder Ritesh Agarwal – Newest Addition to ‘Shark Tank India 3’


Ritesh Agarwal, founder of OYO Rooms, has been named the newest shark on the third season of Shark Tank India’s judging panel. Agarwal expressed his gratitude for the support and generosity of the network, including mentors and VCs, during his entrepreneurial journey. According to him, he also assisted multiple startups and advised businesspeople in the Naropa Fellowship cohort.

The panel, which includes Vineeta Singh, Anupam Mittal, Aman Gupta, Amit Jain, Namita Thapar, and Peyush Bansal, now has Ritesh Agarwal as the youngest shark and starts filming its third season. Shark Tank India Season 2 saw an 80 crore investment across 103 businesses, showcasing outstanding proposals and entrepreneurship.

Shark Tank India’s officials confirmed Ritesh’s statement

Ritesh Agarwal, the founder of Oyo Rooms, is now the youngest shark on the third season of Shark Tank India’s judging panel. Mr. Agarwal announced on X, formerly known as Twitter, and Shark Tank India’s official Instagram page later confirmed it.

“Support was inadequate…,” Mr. Agarwal stated

Mr. Agarwal wrote, “Assets were scarce when I started my entrepreneurial journey. However, the warmth and generosity of the network that welcomed me (mentors, VCs, and other founders) made the path a little simpler and more rewarding.”

He continued, “I have long wanted to be able to duplicate this. When the chance came up, I was ecstatic to connect with, support, and mentor entrepreneurs at every stage of their journeys.”

He continued, “I helped various startups, advised businesspeople in the Naropa Fellowship cohort, assisted small businesses all over India, and whenever possible, gave my all to the community that stayed by me during my initial years.”

The youngest shark in “Shark Tank India”

The panel of sharks includes Vineeta Singh, Anupam Mittal, Aman Gupta, Amit Jain, Namita Thapar, and Peyush Bansal, now consisting of Mr. Agarwal as its youngest member. The popular show “Shark Tank India” has finally started filming its third season. We are still awaiting the Season 3 premiere date on streaming services.
