PM Modi Launches Vande Bharat Express Train In Rajasthan

The first Vande Bharat train for Rajasthan was launched today by PM Modi

Between Jaipur and Delhi Cantt railway stations, the first Vande Bharat Express in Rajasthan will run.

Some users from Twitter are posting why does the Railway Minister never allowed to do such inaugurations and only PM takes the center stage for all the ministries when it comes to opening ceremonies.

The first Vande Bharat Express train from Rajasthan will be flagged off by Prime Minister Narendra Modi via video conference on Wednesday in a further step towards semi-high-speed rail connectivity.

The first-ever Vande Bharat Express in Rajasthan will run between the railway stations of Jaipur and Delhi Cantt. On April 13, this Vande Bharat Express’ regular service will begin. Along the way, it will make stops in Jaipur, Alwar, and Gurgaon while running between Ajmer and Delhi Cantt.

The routine made for the latest Vande Bharat Express states that it will take 5 hours and 15 minutes for the journey from Ajmer to Delhi Cantt.

Currently, the Shatabdi Express, the speediest train along this exact route, travels the distance in 6 hours, and 15 minutes. Compared to the current fastest train traveling the same route, the new Vande Bharat Express will be 60 minutes faster.

The Delhi Cantt-Ajmer Vande Bharat Express will serve as the world’s first moderately fast train to use raised overhead electric (OHE) tracks.

Jaipur, the Ajmer Sharif Dargah, and Pushkar, among other well-known tourist destinations in Rajasthan that attract a lot of travelers throughout the year, will be easier to access with the help of the train. The socioeconomic development of the area will also benefit from improved connectivity.

The Chennai-Coimbatore Vande Bharat Express was launched in Chennai on April 8 by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. It was the second semi-high-speed train on the same day’s schedule to depart, following the Secunderabad-Tirupati Vande Bharat Express from the Secunderabad Railway Station in Telangana.

Prime Minister Modi previously debuted the country’s eighth Vande Bharat Express in January, running among Visakhapatnam and Secunderabad.

After Prime Minister Modi signaled the departure of a Vande Bharat Express on the Bhopal-New Delhi route, the launch took place a week later.

The Tirupati-Secunderabad Vande Bharat Express halts at the train stations in Nellore, Ongole, Guntur, and Nalgonda, during its 660-kilometer journey between the two cities.

The Vande Bharat Express is a self-propelled, moderately-speed train system that is manufactured domestically. Modern passenger amenities on board the train make for a faster, more comfortable, and more convenient journey for passengers.
