The year 2023 has become the Shah Rukh Khan year. With the spy thriller Pathaan, his first film in four years, he launched 2023 with record-breaking success. Fans are now anticipating the release of the actor’s upcoming two films, Jawan by Atlee and Dunki by Rajkumar Hirani.
Tom Cruise’s Mission: Impossible- Dead Reckoning Part One will have Jawan’s trailer attached
The recent news that Tom Cruise’s spy thriller Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One, which opens in Indian theatres in July, will have Jawan’s trailer attached to its prints pumped up fans even more. They now have yet another reason to rejoice.
Jawan and Dunki rights
According to a sources, Jawan and Dunki, both of Shah Rukh’s upcoming films, are being sold for a staggering 480 crore. The rights to Jawan’s digital, satellite, and musical works were likely to trade for about 250 crore. Dunki film’s rights were around 230 crores, one of the highest for any movie.
Pathaan’s Success
Pathaan, in which Shah Rukh played the lead role for the first time since Aanand L. Rai’s disastrous 2018 film Zero, broke numerous box office records. Its rights sold for approximately Rs. 100 crore. Currently, Prime Video is streaming the movie. The Hindi version of Sidharth Anand’s film also features Salman Khan in a cameo, and Deepika Padukone, John Abraham, and Dimple Kapadia, in lead roles, took in about 543.05 crore domestically. Pathaan was also made available in Telugu and Tamil.

About Jawan
Atlee Kumar is the director of the action-thriller Jawan. Along with Deepika Padukone, Sanjay Dutt, and Thalapathy Vijay making cameo appearances, it also features Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Sanya Malhotra, Sunil Grover, and Priyamani in prominent roles. Shah Rukh will reportedly play two characters in the movie. The film will debut in September.
About Dunki
Rajkumar Hirani, who is directing Dunki, is working with Shah Rukh for the first time. The movie also featured Taapse Pannu and was co-written by Kanika Dhillon, Abhijat Joshi, and Rajkumar.
