The Universe began in 2012, and since then, there have been many box office successes. It includes Ek Tha Tiger, Tiger Zinda Hai, War, and Pathaan, which became the highest-grossing Hindi film of all time.
According to information available to Pinkvilla, the Universe is about to get massive because Aditya Chopra is currently developing a high-profile action film starring Alia Bhatt as a female spy.

Alia Bhatt as India’s first female spy agent
In the YRF Spy Universe, Alia Bhatt will play a super-agent alongside Salman Khan, Hrithik Roshan, and Shah Rukh Khan. According to a source familiar with the situation, Alia Bhatt is going to portray a never-before-seen persona in this as-yet-untitled actioner by Aditya Chopra and the team in an epic female-led spy movie that will likely test her to the limit.
“The inclusion of Alia in the Spy Universe demonstrates that Aditya Chopra is taking all potential audience segments. The audience she appeals to will find her portrayal of a spy in an overt action entertainer a huge novelty. It’s heading to be Alia Bhatt like never before,” the source continued.

Upcoming projects of the YRF Spy Universe
The untitled movie, currently in pre-production and development, will begin shooting in 2024. According to reports, it will follow Tiger vs. Pathaan, War, Tiger Zinda Hai, Tiger 3, Ek Tha Tiger, Pathaan, and War 2 as the eighth movie in the YRF Spy Universe.
While War 2 with Hrithik Roshan, NTR Jr., and Kiara Advani is ready to begin production in November. On the other hand, Tiger 3 with Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif will debut this Diwali. Tiger vs. Pathaan, which stars Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan, plans to begin production next year.
The YRF Spy Universe plans to grow to unfathomable proportions with as many as four films in the upcoming two years.
