Olympic medal-winning wrestler Bajrang Punia reportedly visited Cabinet Minister Anurag Thakur recently today morning, according to sources. Bajrang Punia visited Thakur on his invitation to discuss the issue of the WFI president Brij Bhushan Singh, whom the wrestlers have accused of sexually harassing athletes, including a minor, in recent complaints. A recent source clarified that Punia is not traveling with the farmer leader Rakesh Tikait, contrary to an earlier report that suggested this.

Bajrang Punia visited cabinet minister Anurag Thakurs’ house on Wednesday morning, according to the sources in response to the minister’s invitation to protesting wrestlers for an open discussion.
Discussion On Future Roadmap Of Resolution
Bajrang Punia, one of the nation’s top wrestlers and Olympic medalists, visited the home of Union Home Minister Anurag Thakur. Punia visited Thakur on his invitation to discuss the issue of Wrestling Federation of India president and BJP MP Brij Bhushan Singh, whom wrestlers have accused of sexually harassing athletes, including a minor, in recent complaints.
Contrary to earlier reports, farmer leader Rakesh Tikait is not present at the residence of the Union Minister.
Thakur invited the wrestlers
Earlier, the top wrestlers have been invited by Union Sports Minister Anurag Thakur to discuss their demands. This occurred a few days after the wrestlers met with Home Minister Amit Shah last week to discuss allegations made against BJP MP Singh.
Thakur promised of Fair investigation
Women wrestlers have accused BJP MP Brij Bhushan of sexual harassment, and yesterday Anurag Thakur promised a fair investigation into their claims.
“The management is currently establishing a panel to investigate the allegations. To investigate the situation, the police have filed an FIR,” the Union minister said.
Delhi Police Actions
As part of the investigation, Delhi Police also took statements from WFI chief Brij Bhushan’s friends and those who worked at his Gonda, Uttar Pradesh, home. More than 125 individuals, including family members and friends on both sides, have been questioned, and their statements have been recorded.
Minor Wrestler issued a new statement
The sources also claimed that the minor whose statement served as the foundation for the filing of a complaint against Singh under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act had made a new statement under section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (CRPC).
Wrestlers Protest Till Now
The best wrestlers in the nation, including Olympic medalists Sakshi Malik and Bajrang Punia, are protesting against the Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) president, whom they claim has harassed female wrestlers.
