Karnataka Elections: Rahul Gandhi Kick Starts Campaign From Hubbali


On Sunday, Rahul Gandhi, a leader of the Congress party, will be visiting Karnataka, which is currently preparing for elections. During his two-day visit, Gandhi will attend various events, such as visiting temples, meeting with people, addressing the public, and interacting with the Congress party. His itinerary includes traveling to Hubballi and then to Kudala Sangama in Bagalkote by helicopter.

Meanwhile, Murugesh Nirani, a Karnataka Minister who is running for the Assembly elections on a BJP ticket, has been charged after police seized 963 traditional silver lamps worth Rs 21.45 lakh from factory staff quarters under Mudhol Police Station limits on Friday. In another development coinciding with Rahul Gandhi’s 2 day visit in the poll bound Karnataka, CPI party has extended support to Congress party on 215 seats as per Congress leader and Karnataka poll in-charge Randeep Surjewala.

The state of Karnataka goes to vote in a single phase on 10th May 2023 and the counting will be done on 13th May 2023.
