Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan Released: Getting Mixed Reviews


Salman Khan is back on the silver screen on the festival of Eid after a gap of 4 years with Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan: Bhaijaan. The farhad Samji written movie got released on 21st April 2023 and reviews have started coming out.

Based on early reviews and audience reactions the film is getting mixed reviews and is expected to earn around 17-18 Crore on the opening day.

The film as we know is a loose remake of south movie veeram, it also stars Raghav Juyal, Jassi Gill, Boxer Vijendra Singh, Siddharth Nigam, and Shehnaz Gill. It also stars Bhumika Chawla, Salman Khan’s leading lady from Tere Naam and South Indian star Venkatesh. The leading lady in the movie is played by Pooja Hegde and the film also stars TV star Shweta Tiwari’s daughter Palak Tiwari.

Many are eager to see how Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan will perform at the box office, especially since the formulaic films have not done well in recent times. However, Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan, which featured a cameo by Salman, did manage to break this trend. Salman and Shah Rukh will also feature in Tiger 3. Salman Khan is known for drawing in crowds with his Eid releases, and the trade believes that the movie’s real test will be during the festival tomorrow as India celebrates the end of Ramazan.

The trailer for the movie Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan suggests that the film’s plot revolves around Salman Khan’s character playing the role of an elder brother to Raghav, Jassie, and Siddharth, who are keen on getting him married so that they too can find suitable partners. As the story progresses, Salman’s character falls in love with Bhagyalaxmi, played by Pooja Hegde. However, the couple faces obstacles as Bhagyalaxmi’s family is being threatened by a notorious criminal.

The early reviews show that the film lacks the spark and the writing of the film is weak, now we have to see if Salman Khan’s charisma alone will be able to pull off the film to decent numbers on the box office or not. The trends show that the film is going to turn out to be a mediocre one on the box office, however, it is too soon to predict anything.
