Making the declaration at the “Telangana Jana Garjana” on Sunday night, Rahul Gandhi cited the party’s earlier pronouncements, such as the farmers’ and youths’ declarations made in Warangal and Hyderabad, to the audience.

The BRS government currently provides widows and senior citizens a monthly pension of Rs. 2,016 through the Aasara Pension Scheme.
Rahul Gandhi also promised that the Congress party would give the tribal communities their Podu lands back if it won the election. He emphasized the return of all lands taken from farmers and Dalits by the KCR government.
