Congress Survey Projects Over 140 Seats
The Congress party, led by D.K. Shivakumar, conducted a survey that projects a win of over 140 seats in the upcoming assembly elections. The survey suggests that the Congress party will increase its seat tally from 78 in the previous elections to over 140 in 2023. The party seems to be confident about its chances and is already prepared with a list of candidates for most seats.

The party’s state president, D.K. Shivakumar, has expressed confidence in the survey’s projections and believes that the Congress will form the government in Karnataka. According to Shivakumar, “We have conducted an internal survey which has predicted that the Congress will win over 140 seats in the upcoming elections. Our party is well prepared to contest and win the elections.”
BJP’s Seat Tally May Even Come Down To 40

In contrast, according to D.K. Shivakumar, the BJP may face a setback in the upcoming elections. He predicts that the BJP’s tally may come down to 40 seats, far lower than their current tally of 104 seats in the assembly. Shivakumar attributes this to the BJP’s failure to address the concerns of the people in the state and their inability to deliver on their promises.

According to Shivakumar, the BJP won’t even cross the 65-seat mark in the upcoming elections, and its tally may come down to 40. “BJP will not cross the 65-seat mark in the upcoming elections, and its tally may even come down to 40. The people of Karnataka have lost faith in the BJP government,” he added.

Lok Poll Survey Predictions
In addition to the Congress party’s internal survey, several other surveys have also predicted a victory for the Congress in the upcoming Karnataka assembly elections. According to a Lok Poll survey, the Congress will likely win 116 to 122 seats with a vote share of approximately 39% to 42% in the Karnataka assembly that has 224 members.

The same survey also predicted that the ruling party, BJP is likely to win 77 to 83 seats, with a vote share of approximately 33% to 36%. The JD(S) is likely to win 21 to 27 seats having a 15% to 18% share of votes, while other parties are predicted to secure 1 to 4 seats and a vote share of around 6% to 9%.

The survey results indicate a significant swing in favor of the Congress party, which could result in a change of government in Karnataka. The survey also showed that the Congress is likely to perform well in regions such as North Karnataka, Mumbai Karnataka, and Hyderabad Karnataka. The party is also expected to do well among the Dalit and Muslim communities, who comprise a significant portion of the state’s population. At the same time, the BJP’s performance is expected to be stronger in coastal Karnataka and central Karnataka.

The survey is based on a sample size of 45,000 people, with over 200 samples collected from each of the 224 seats in the state. To ensure a representative sample, 30 booths were chosen on a random basis in each assembly constituency, and samples were collected from January 15 to February 28.

However, the survey results also show that the BJP’s vote share has increased slightly from the last assembly elections, while the Congress party’s vote share has decreased slightly. This could make the election results unpredictable and could lead to a hung assembly.

Congress First List of Candidates
The Congress party is prepared to release its first list of candidates for the upcoming elections on March 17, according to reports. The party has already prepared a list of candidates for most seats and is confident about its chances of winning the elections. The first list will give us a clear idea of the candidates the party is fielding and the constituencies they are contesting from.

According to sources, the party has prepared a list of candidates for 180 out of the 224 seats in the state. The remaining seats will be contested by other allies of the Congress party.

Other Political Parties’ Alliance
Apart from the Congress and the BJP, the JD(S) party may also play a significant role in the upcoming elections. The party, led by former Prime Minister H.D. Deve Gowda, has not yet announced its stance on the upcoming elections, and it remains to be seen whether they will ally with any political party.

Congress Leader D.K. Shivakumar’s Confidence
Congress leader D.K. Shivakumar exudes confidence and believes that the party will emerge victorious in the upcoming elections. He believes that the people of Karnataka are looking for a change and are disillusioned with the BJP’s rule. According to Shivakumar, the Congress party has a strong leadership and a clear vision for the state’s development, which will resonate with the voters.

“We are confident that the Congress party will win the upcoming assembly elections in Karnataka. The people of Karnataka are looking for a change, and we are the right party to bring about that change,” he said.
