Big night for Gangubai Kathiawadi & Badhai Do

Ten trophies go to Gangubai Kathiawadi, while six go to Badhaai Do.

Filmfare Awards 2023 were primarily dominated by “Gangubai Kathiawadi” and “Badhai Do,” with Alia Bhatt taking home the Best Actress trophy and Rajkummar Rao taking home the Best Actor honor.

Gangubai Kathiawadi took first place with ten awards, including several of the biggest ones given out that evening, including Best Film, Best Director for Sanjay Leela Bhansali, and Best Actress for Alia Bhatt.

The 68th Filmfare Awards, 2023

One of the most prestigious and long-running events for Hindi-language films is the Filmfare Awards. The awards were established in 1954, and the 68th edition was held on Thursday. Many aspiring young artists realized their dreams of taking home the coveted Black Lady at the most recent event.

It’s finally time for the 68th Filmfare Awards in 2023, and the winners have been revealed.
Numerous Bollywood stars, such as Alia Bhatt, Salman Khan, Ayushmann Khurrana, Vicky Kaushal, Janhvi Kapoor, Dia Mirza, and Pooja Hegde, among others, attended the award ceremony.

During this time, electrifying performances were given by Janhvi Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, Tiger Shroff, and Govinda.

The Best Actor and Actress

Lifetime Achievement Award
Prem Chopra, a veteran actor, was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award.

The Best Actor and Actress (Critics)
For Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and Badhaai Do, respectively, Tabu and Bhumi Pednekar shared the Best Actress (Critics) honor. Sanjay Mishra took home the Best Actor award from the critics for his work in Vadh.

The Best Actor and Actress (Debut)
Ankush Gedam, a Jhund actor, received the Best Debut (Male) honor. The Best Debut (Female) Award went to Anek actress Andrea Kevichusa.
