Gurugram, Sohna, and Palwal have all been affected by the violence that began after a Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) march got assaulted in Nuh, Haryana, on Monday. On Wednesday, the unrest propagated across multiple Delhi border neighborhoods.

While referencing the ethnic clashes in Manipur, the Aam Aadmi Party, the Congress, and the Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena denounced the escalation of tensions in Haryana.

The “double-engine sarkar” offer has been a staple of the BJP’s state election campaigns. It tries to convince the electorate by demonstrating how well a BJP-led administration in their state would function if it worked with the national party.

Manipur and Haryana are burning

On Wednesday, the Congress drew attention to the burning conditions in BJP-governed Manipur and Haryana. Biren Singh is the leader of the BJP government in Manipur, and Manohar Lal Khattar is the party’s chief minister in Haryana.

The opposition had previously highlighted the “ineffectiveness of the double-engine sarkar” by highlighting the ongoing violence in Manipur. On May 3, the most recent ethnic unrest in Manipur began and will last three months.

Congressman questioned Prime Minister Modi’s “silence”

“The double engine Sarkar’s narrative. BJP at the center and in Manipur. Manipur is in flames. BJP at the center and in Haryana. Haryana is also on fire,” said BV Srinivas, president of the Youth Congress. The Congressman questioned Prime Minister Modi’s “silence” as well.

Sanjay Singh’s remark

Sanjay Singh, a Rajya Sabha representative for the Aam Aadmi Party, declared: “From Manipur to Mewat, no matter where the BJP is in power, it switches to the governance of unrest and brutality.”

“The administration is complicit in the violence if a riot lasts longer than 24 hours. What observations will you generate concerning the double-engine government in Manipur and now Haryana? The “Gujarat model” is now truly national,” tweeted political analyst Swati Chaturvedi.
