IPS Narendra Bijarniya is the new SP of the Nuh district
According to a formal order, Superintendent of Police (SP) Varun Singla, who was on vacation when racial tensions exploded in the district of Nuh in Haryana, relocated to Bhiwani. The district’s new SP is IPS Narendra Bijarniya. On Thursday, a top Haryana administration official stated that the state’s circumstances are rapidly returning to normal and that anyone discovered liable for the communal violence will not get spared.
Additional security gets designated in violence-affected areas
Furthermore, the Rapid Action Force, the CRPF’s anti-riot unit, will soon establish a center in Nuh, according to Additional Chief Secretary (Home) Prasad. So far, 55 FIRs have been filed in Nuh, including 10 for spreading false information on social media, and they detained 141 people.
On Thursday, the police announced that there had been two reported fires at two mosques in Tauru’s Ward No. 13; a probe to determine the causes is ongoing.
The curfew gets relaxed in Nuh for some time
The restriction in Nuh will be unwinding today (Friday) from 12 pm to 3 pm. According to sources, Haryana’s chief minister, Manohar Lal Khattar, will also preside over a cabinet meeting today. Due to the extensive police presence on Thursday, Nuh appeared abandoned, with its businesses closed and its residents staying indoors. Despite the curfew lifting from 9 am to 1 pm and the internet being operational sometimes in the afternoon, life wasn’t back to routine.

Consequences of Nuh violence in Gurugram
Following the outbreak of violence earlier this week, police officers remain stationed in some areas of Gurugram. Before Friday prayers, security appeared outside Jama Masjid, Sadar Bazar in Haryana. According to police, “a group of 25 to 30 men attacked two brothers in Gurgaon’s Palda Dhani on Wednesday. Police claim that the group targeted Rustam and Nisar Ali and asked them to leave their Sector 70 home.”
Due to fear, migrant workers leave Nuh, a violent area
Numerous migrant workers in Nuh, Haryana, are returning home out of worry or running away in search of work to the nearby states of Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh following a communal uprising in the district that took six lives.
