At a gala event for Femina Miss India 2023 in Imphal, Manipur, the 19-year-old Nandini Gupta from Kota, Rajasthan, was awarded the illustrious title. The event took place on April 15, 2023, and it will air on Colours TV on May 14 at 10 am.

In contrast, Thounaojam Strela Luwang from Manipur was named second runner-up, and Shreya Poonja from Delhi was named Femina Miss India 2023 first runner-up.

India’s representative will be Nandini Gupta at the 71st Miss World competition in the United Arab Emirates.

Several celebrities gave outstanding performances during the star-studded Femina Miss India 2023 evening. Several previous pageant winners, including Sini Shetty, Suman Rao, Rubal Shekhawat, Manya Singh, Shinata Chauhan, Manika Sheokand, Manasa Varanasi, and Shivani Jadhav, performed on stage.

At the 59th iteration of the event, Bollywood performers Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday also performed on stage with their jaw-dropping songs.

The Femina Miss India 2023 pageant was hosted by Manish Paul and Bhumi Pedneker.
The 30-state winners were featured in a collection designed by Namrata Joshipura for Trends, Rocky Star, and Robert Naorem, which included traditional attire in several rounds of fashion shows at the event.

The panel, which included Neha Dhupia, a mentor to the Femina Miss India Universe 2002, Laishram Sarita Devi, a legendary boxer, accomplished choreographer Terence Lewis, Harshavardhan Kulkarni, a film director and writer, and fashion designers Rocky Star and Joshipura, chose the winners.

The event was also attended by former Manipur state champions Angobi Chanu Loukrakpam, Soibam Kanchan, Maria Chanu Pangambam, and Urmila Shagolsem.

Nandini Gupta: who is she?

Kota, Rajasthan, is the hometown of Nandini Gupta. She had been interested in becoming Miss India since she was ten years old. Nandini completed her education at St. Paul’s Senior Optional School, according to her profile on the company website, and is currently enrolled at Lala Lajpat Rai College to pursue a degree in business management.

Nandini stated in a conversation with the pageant that “Sir Ratan Tata, the man who does everything for mankind and donates nearly all of his fortune to donations and is the person who has had the biggest impact on her life, was her inspiration.” Additionally, she stated, “Above all else, he is admired by millions and always grounded.”

Like Ratan Tata, Nandini discussed how Priyanka Chopra inspired her to compete in the Miss India pageant. Miss World 2000, Priyanka Chopra, represented India with pride both at home and abroad. She won the title at a young age. She was a talented actress who also gave back to the community. She described her as having an excellent sense of humor, the desire to advance, and the ability to motivate others.
