Finally, the wait is over! The Academy Awards, or Oscars, were established in 1929 and recently celebrated their 95th anniversary. The Oscars, the world’s oldest entertainment award, are widely regarded as the most appreciable and renowned honor bestowed upon the American entertainment industry. Winners will be announced for a wide range of awards, including Best Picture, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Feature Film, Best Animated Feature Film, and many more.

Big names from around the world brought sparkles, glam, and dazzle to the Oscars 2023 ceremony, which kicked off on March 13 at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.

‘Everything Everywhere All At Once’ had a big night, winning nearly every award it was nominated for at the prestigious ceremony. The film, which depicts a Chinese immigrant becoming enthralled in an exciting quest in which she must connect different versions of herself in the parallel universe from the evil person who wishes to harm the multiverse, won approximately seven Academy Awards!

The first award of the night, ‘Best Animated Feature,’ was given to ‘Pinocchio,’ making Guillermo del Toro the first person in Oscar history to win Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Animated Feature.

‘Everything, Everywhere, All At Once’ star Ke Huy Quan won the Oscar for ‘Best Supporting Actor’ in 2023.

The sci-fi blockbuster ‘Everything, Everywhere, All at Once’ tops the list with 11 nominations, followed by ‘The Banshees of Inisherin,’ an Irish dark comedy, and ‘All Quiet on the Western Front,’ a World War I movie, both with nine.
It was a big night for India as it won Best Documentary Short Film for ‘The Elephant Whisperers,’ the country’s first Oscar of 2023. Later, the ‘RRR’ team made the country excited by winning Best Music (Original Song) for ‘Naatu Naatu’.

For her work on “Everything Everywhere All at Once,” Jamie Lee Curtis won the Oscar for “Best Supporting” actress in 2023.

Meanwhile, Shaunak Sen’s Indian documentary ‘All That Breathes’ lost the Oscar for ‘Best Documentary Feature Film’ to Daniel Roher’s ‘Navalny,’ a 2022 documentary film. India also suffered a second defeat at the prestigious awards ceremony, as ‘The Elephant Whisperers’ lost the title of ‘Best Live Action Short Film’ to ‘An Irish Goodbye’.
Oscar’s statuettes were awarded in all 23 categories during the ceremony, which was hosted by Jimmy Kimmel.
